Conceptual Management Frameworks
In our work with Enterprises we are certainly seeing different levels of embracing the social web. Being more of a Tools oriented organization than a creative one, we have worked with our clients to help them better understand the various stages of implementation of a Social Web Strategy from a slightly different perspective.
I think that this framework provides excellent insight into how an Enterprise Social Media’s technical infrastructure can (and in fact, must) grow and develop in order to support growth along the maturity model. We are very focused today on helping our clients better understand the “Enterprise Requirements” of Social Media. And we discuss those not in the context of what will make them a good on-line sociable organization – but rather how they can become that good member while still preserving things inherently enterprise: Workflow Approvals, Metrics, Audit Trails, etc. It is with those thoughts in mind that we are introducing our Social Web Manager Offering - and I hope you will take the opportunity to attend one of our presentations or call for an individual presentation during the coming month.

Starting to Think About 2010
It’s that time of year when we start thinking about next year. To say there will be “change” would be an understatement. We can start with the certainty that the recovery from the economic downturn will not be a return to the past. The “global” business as we knew it will never the the same. Then take a look at the current crop of buzz words and you get an even more unsettling snap shot of the future. Web-book, VMWare, The Cloud, Web 2.0, User Centric, SaaS, Agile, Social Media, Predictive BI, iPhone and the smart phone...and a lot more may all be just words, but they portend a whole lot more. Without a doubt, 2010 will be a whirl-wind of change with no way to “stop the world and get off.” So hang on. If you don’t, you may never get back on.

November 5-7, 2009
PSC has been invited to introduce our recently developed Sandler Training® Framework for MicrosoftDynamics CRM at Sandler's November conference in Baltimore, MD. This framework is a set of customizations designed and developed by PSC Group that can be plugged directly into Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online or On Premise versions. The framework is designed to be a tool for sales people trained in the Sandler Training System to manage the sales process more effectively using the Sandler sales methodology. The ability to utilize views and reports that are specific to the unique Sandler language and sales process makes this a very effective tool for sales managers and Sandler coaches as well.
